Indochino Suits Review: What Do Customers Think?
In our Indochino suits review, we found that customers were split between negative and positive camps as they reflected on the products. Some customers felt that the suits and customer service were excellent. They found staff helpful and friendly during the consultation and measurement process.
In one Indochino review, however, a customer complained that though Indochino quality was terrific, Indochino measurements were unsatisfactory. Other Indochino reviews commented on poor quality with the suit ripping after a couple of uses. When the case was brought to customer service with pictures to give evidence to the damage, customer service stated that it was a dry cleaning error. Many customers reported that their suit deteriorated or shredded after several uses, and when this occurred, customer service did not take responsibility for the issue or exercise empathy.
Another Indochino suit review indicated that the challenges in measurements were poignant. One individual ordered several shirts that arrived 2.5 inches too long in the sleeve and 3.5 inches too long in the torso (yikes!). Customers were unhappy with the length of wait times, especially when they had to return a product for incorrect measurements.
Is Indochino Worth It?
Indochino did not come out with an even score. There were polarized reviews about the company and the garments. While the measurement process is precise, and decisions are hands-on, creative and customer-facing, customer support did not exercise reasonable responses to complaints. Customers felt that customer support put undue emphasis and blame on external factors, ignoring apparent and inherent flaws in the fabrics. The fabric did not stand the test of time or durability, and many customers were sorely disappointed.
There are many accessible showrooms for Indochino products, it’s easy to measure at home and to order online, but the promised quality was not delivered with the product. Many were enticed to Indochino because of the premise and promises of the company, but the follow-through was inadequate.

Return Policy
Indochino believes in a Made to Measure experience. Our Indochino suits review emphasized that men’s suits are tailored to your measurements, choice of fabric and customizations. Indochino makes a Fit Promise, and this means that if your order does not match with your desires for the garment, then Indochino will work to fit you with the apparel that meets all of your expectations.
In our Indochino suits review, we learned that though the brand will work to fit you with the right product, they do not offer refunds because the product is cut to your measurements. You can, however, return the product for a store credit.
There are some guidelines to the Indochino return process:
- Let Indochino know about a problem in your garment within ten days of receipt
- Returns are at the discretion of Indochino
- If accepted, your returns will be reimbursed with an Indochino gift card
- Only unworn items in good condition are accepted
- Indochino may deny an item that has been damaged or worn
- If an item has been altered, Indochino will not accept the garment
- If you purchased your item with a Gift Card, the card will be reloaded before another Gift Card is issued

Complaintdress shirts, 2 pairs of pants, and a sport coat back in January of this year.
I had several “final fit” appointments and both my sport coat and my slacks needed to be remade. At the time of my final fit I asked about the sleeves being tighter than I was used to, and the person doing the final fitting indicated that the shirts were custom made and should fit fairly snugly.
I was instructed not to wash them in hot water and not to dry them with heat, but that either a cold wash and steam was acceptable, or to take them to a dry cleaner.
I have worn one of the shirts twice – and had it dry cleaned once. During the second wearing it split in the right arm near the elbow.
I contacted the local Indochino where they scheduled me for yet another final fit appointment. When I arrived they told me they couldn’t do anything for me – despite telling me ahead of time that they could (I took time off from work to travel to the appointment as they were unable to schedule me an appointment for a Saturday). They indicated that since my right arm had more musculature than my left that was a factor in the split, but that they could not do anything as it had been over 30 days. They also indicated that since I had taken the shirt to a dry cleaner they were not responsible as it probably shrunk.
I am dismayed about the service I received and the quality of shirts. I paid for a custom fit and quality material. A shirt that splits the second time it is worn is either made of defective material, or the custom fit was inadequate. The manager of the local store has also indicated they were unable to remake the shirt as after reviewing my account I don’t do enough business for them to make an exception outside of the 30 day window.
Contacting customer service resulted in only a comment that they back up their showroom managers and that it is within their terms and conditions.
