This Everytable subscription review will take a close look at the brand, how their subscription service works, customer ratings, shipping, and more, to help you decide if their meals are the right choice for you.

Overview of Everytable

Everytable provides a healthy alternative to fast food that is just as affordable. Their made-from-scratch meals are sold through grab-and-go storefronts which are priced according to the neighborhood.

Sam Polk, the Everytable founder, left his high-profile Wall Street job to start a non-profit, Feast, that provided low-income families with healthy, affordable food. He took the same principle and foundation and applied it to the creation of the brand in 2015.

Serving multiple Everytable LA neighborhoods, the company provides a healthier option for those who are unable to spend large amounts of money on healthy food. Healthy, convenient food can be expensive and some often opt for fast and cheap alternatives.

Everytable’s meals are on average $5 cheaper than other healthy options available on the market and the brand decided to offer balanced meals that are more appealing to customers.

They are currently delivering Everytable senior meals in partnership with the LA Mayor’s office. There are grab-and-go shops in Los Angeles, Compton, and Watts, among others across Southern California.
Many of their physical locations have smart vending machines with swipe and go services, making it easy for people to purchase a convenient and affordable lunch.

Check out the rest of our Everytable subscription review for a breakdown of the features and benefits of their services. Below, you’ll find the pros and cons list:

  • Prices vary by location; more affluent neighborhoods have higher prices while low-income neighborhoods are offered lower prices
  • Low $15 order minimum
  • Rotating menu of over 28 meals
  • Meals are packaged with recyclable materials
  • Everytable is working to use more sustainable packaging materials

Cons

  • Only serving one region for now

On top of their grab-and-go locations across LA, Everytable offers one-time online purchases and weekly or twice weekly subscriptions to help make eating healthy easier.

Their physical locations have smart vending machines with swipe and go services, making it easy for people to purchase a convenient and affordable lunch. Along with their vending machines, Everytable also offers catering for any occasion and food service for businesses and their employees.

Everytable makes choosing healthy meals easy with their meal delivery service. Whether you want a week’s worth of breakfast wraps or a more affordable option for your green juice, Everytable delivers on its promise to make healthy food more accessible.

This Everytable subscription review will now break down the subscription service and what you can expect when you order from the company.

How Does Everytable Work?

The Everytable subscription allows customers to pick a range of items from the rotating menu each week. Meals are professionally cooked and delivered to your door. All you need to do is heat and eat. There is a $15 order minimum for delivery orders which equates to two to three items.

When it’s time to choose your meals for the week, Everytable will send an email to remind you to update your order if necessary. There’s also an option to skip an order if you feel inclined to switch up your meals for the week. Everytable allows you to pause or cancel your subscription at any time by emailing customer support.

Although this is a subscription service, you have the option to place an order online and pick it up from an Everytable location. There is no minimum order fee for pick-up orders and you have the option not to subscribe to weekly deliveries.

If you are subscribed to the delivery service, your plan will auto-renew each week and you’ll receive the same meals on the same day and time each week. If you are ordering meals for a full week, you can opt for delivery two days per week.

This Everytable subscription review notes that meals are best consumed within four days. If you need to freeze your meals, transfer to a freezer-safe container and microwave when ready to eat.

Next, we’ll give you details on what to expect for the Everytable meal service. Offering a range of dishes to suit different diets, your Everytable subscription can be customized weekly. Everytable provides delicious and exciting options to satisfy your palate.

Everytable Subscription

Your Everytable Subscription is super flexible. You can adjust your plan or leave it the same every week as long as you’re hitting the $15 order minimum. Pick from their menu of over 28 meals that cater to low carb, vegan, or simply balanced diets. Add healthy smoothies and better-for-you desserts for a more satisfying, complete meal.

Some examples of meals you’ll find on Everytable include the Buffalo Chicken Wrap, Salmon Superfood Salad, and Spaghetti Squash and Meatballs. Aside from full meals, you can add a side or a protein to a meal you’re already making at home.

For example, if you’re making a vegan caesar salad but are having meat-eating guests over, ordering four servings of Lemon Pepper Chicken is an easy and affordable way to make your guests happy without having to cook the chicken yourself.

If you’re a BBQ master and have the steaks under control but would like a side to complement the protein, cue the Cauliflower Mac and Cheese that serves six. The sides offered by Everytable also make for well-rounded dinner additions for families on busy weeknights.

Whatever your diet preference is, Everytable provides options for healthy and affordable beverages and desserts, too. The company offers nutritious smoothies at half the price you would pay for them in-store.

If you’re a sweets lover, be sure to try out their healthier dessert options including vegan peanut butter cookie bars and chocolate chip cookies that are packed with flaxseed.

The Everytable subscription offers breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert options for you to keep satiated, happy, and healthy throughout the day.

How Much is Everytable?

Everytable prices start at just $5. If you choose the delivery option, there is an order minimum of $15, however, if you choose to pick up your orders, there is no order minimum.

This Everytable subscription review chose five meals for lunch for one week and the cost before delivery was $36. That’s an average of just over $7 per meal.

Depending on the items you choose and how much food you require per meal, your total will vary. There is no subscription cost but you will be charged the same amount weekly unless you change your order.

Everytable Subscription Reviews: What Do Customers Think?

This Everytable subscription review checked Trustpilot, Yelp, and Spoon University, for more information on how customers view the brand. Customer reviews include topics based on quality for price, taste, packaging, subscription service, and the brand as a whole.

Everytable has a 4.9/5 star average from 265 customer ratings on Trustpilot. This Everytable subscription review notes that the brand only has Excellent and Great ratings on this website.

One customer said, “Everytable has been a gamechanger for my health. They’re actually affordable, convenient, and their customer service is on point.” On the other hand, some customers were displeased by the excessive packaging: “feel really bad with the amount of waste created from all of the boxes and ice packs and food containers.” Others noted that they couldn’t approve substitutions before their delivery came.

Everytable has an average of 4.5/5 stars from 300 customer ratings on Yelp. One customer who loves their subscription service said, “Genuinely floored at the quality you get for the price…The shipment comes well-packaged in a tidy compostable/ recyclable box with ice packs…The food is diverse, vibrant, and fresh.”

A limited number of reviewers on Yelp were unhappy with the taste, like this customer: “The food though just isn’t good. High in sugar, far, and bland rubbery chicken breast.  Not enough vegetables and what is it is overcooked and under-seasoned.” It’s important to note that this kind of feedback is rare, so we’re thinking it has to do with personal preference.

A review on Spoon University summed up the pros and cons of the Everytable subscription service: “My favorite points of using Everytable for a week were: 1) I didn’t have to cook but my meals were still cheap and nutritious 2) the delivery came at the assigned time and very well packaged 3) I get to support a company that is doing incredible things for our local community.”

Is Everytable Worth It?

Everytable has very high ratings on multiple review sites. This may be due in part to their mission to help lower-income neighborhoods access nutritious meals. But it’s also because customers love their food. The photos of meals taken by customers look fresh and delicious and we love that they periodically switch up their menu and offer meal options for various diets and lifestyles.

The major issue that customers have with the brand is the packaging. The brand has stated that they are working on a solution for more sustainable packaging, so customers may see a change soon.

In terms of quality for the price, customers seem pleased with their meals and this Everytable subscription review placed an example order for a week’s worth of lunches and was impressed with the cost as well. Their meals are affordable compared to typical healthy takeout businesses, some of which amount to double the price.

This Everytable subscription review appreciates the brand and its mission and believes they are worth the buy. The only downside is that the service is only offered in select locations. We hope that as the brand begins to franchise, we’ll see them popping up in more locations across the country.
