About Clean Origin

Clean Origin Diamonds Review

All that glitters isn’t gold, and in the case of diamonds, just because they’re beautiful doesn’t mean they were sourced in an ethical way. The truth is that diamonds have a dirty reputation, one that Clean Origin makes spotless with its lab-created gems.

Clean origin sells 100% lab-created diamonds, identical to mined diamonds right down to the chemical structure. They’re authentic, clean, and have all the shimmer you’ve ever longed for and none of the blood and tears that go on inside the mined diamond market.

Clean Origin has made quite the name for itself, landing features in a wide range of notable publications like Forbes, Brides, and even Men’s Journal. They’re also making a splash on social media, with 6.4k followers on Instagram. What’s your take on lab-made diamonds? If you need more information, this Clean Origin review has you covered.

Here, we’ll give you a rundown on the brand and its best-selling pieces, answer important FAQs, provide feedback from customers, and more. So let’s go ahead and jump into it, no digging required.

Overview of Clean Origin

Clean Origin Diamonds Review

Founded in 2017, Clean Origin is a modern brand aimed at modern folks with high standards. It was developed by 3rd generation merchant in diamonds Alex Weindling, Terry Burman, who made a name for himself as the CEO of Signet Jewelers, Sterling Jewelers, and Zale Corporation, and Ryan Bonificino, the former Chief Marketing Officer of Alex and Ani.

An impressive lineup no doubt, and one that makes Clean Origin even more appealing…these guys know their way in, out, and around jewelry. Weindling was the one with the idea, and his vision was 100% ethical, real, and quality gems sold online — something that’s not normally done for diamonds.

Their mission is simple — “to improve the diamond shopping experience” — and they’ve done so by streamlining the process by taking it online, choosing lab-grown over mined, and keeping prices affordable. You won’t find a single mined diamond in its collection because this brand is all about ethics.

Clean Origin Braided Solitaire Ring Review

Rope signifies strength and an everlasting bond, and the Braided Solitaire Ring captures this essence for an eternity with a breathtaking round diamond. The band features a soft, matte twist three-quarters around your finger, fading into a smooth, polished ring for an elegant touch.

The ring itself is 2.6 mm, and you’ll select diamonds with a carat of 0.5-2.5. Create special, long-lasting moments starting at $670-$1,190.

Clean Origin Weddings Review

Clean Origin wedding rings are breathtaking. The collection is small, but each one is incredibly different — no two look alike. You can browse through braided, classic, and diamond-encrusted bands set with the diamond of your choice.

Just like its other pieces, you can pick from 14K white and yellow gold, 18k white and yellow gold, as well as platinum for the band. Up next, this Clean Origin review will showcase the brand’s best-selling wedding sets which contrast in style but are matched in extravagance.

Clean Origin Twisted Halo Bridal Set Review

Creative, the Twisted Halo Bridal Set featured crisscrossing bands decorated with bright diamonds. With a round center stone, this set comes with a pavé wedding band that matches up perfectly to the engagement ring.

You’ll count a total of 49 gems on this ring, of which measures 4.4 mm on the finger. Choose from carats .33-.55, which when they’re added up, equal a whole ‘lotta shine. Get this eye-catching set starting at $2,435-$3,415.

Clean Origin Largo Vintage Bridal Set Review

The Largo Vintage Bridal Set has an old-time feel that’s contrasted against the modern nature of lab-created stones. There’s a total of 34 diamonds on this 5 mm ring, one large round gem, the others delicately lining the top of the band.

A higher-end design, you’ll choose from diamonds with carats between 0.5-2.55 for this style, which comes along with a wedding band that nestles perfectly up against the engagement ring. Say yes for a lifetime with this special set starting at $2,555-$4,125.

Clean Origin Czarina Bridal Set Review

The Czarina Bridal Set is regal-looking and calls upon glamour from the past, with a large oval diamond in the center of the diamond pavé band. This particular ring has a more squarish look about it, the edges flat instead of soft and rounded, perfect for those who like a little more drama in their lives.

Evocative of times long ago, this glorious set comes with a simpler diamond wedding band with small circular stones. Measuring 3.8 mm across, it’s compatible with carats between 0.65-2.1. Choose a time-honored classic with the Czarina Bridal Set, starting at $2,135-$3,005.

Who Are Clean Origin Diamonds For?

Clean Origin Diamonds Review

With ethics at the forefront of its company, Clean Origin is a modern brand for those who care about where their jewelry comes from. Diamonds are a tricky stone, with a lot of them grabbed in unfair trades, causing warfare, slavery, child labor, and abuse. Not to mention, mining for them is destroying the environment.

Clean Origin is for you if you still want the sparkle but none of the horror that comes from buying a mined diamond. Lower in cost and just as beautiful, the brand offers a range of jewelry for special occasions like engagements or any day you feel like adding a little clean sparkle to your life.

Are Clean Origin‘s Lab Created Diamonds Certified By The GIA?

Clean Origin Diamonds Review

Clean Origin partners with independent labs to certify its diamonds. These include the IGI (International Gemological Institute) and GCAL (Gem Certification and Assurance Lab). Both highly-regarded names in the gem world, these internationally-recognized labs are known for grading both mined and lab-grown diamonds. GIA (Gemological Institute of America) diamonds are also often found in stock, however, at this current time they do not have any.

A little brief on the IGI: Founded in Belgium in 1975, the IGI trains world-renowned gemologists. As for the GCAL, this NYC-based lab was created in 2001 and is known for issuing top-notch diamond certifications. A GCAL diamond will have been properly graded for cut, clarity, color, and weight.

When it comes to shopping for diamonds, it’s important to have the right help. Are Clean Origin Diamonds Worth It?

Clean Origin Diamonds Review

Shopping online for diamonds may seem a little iffy, but Clean Origin does literally everything in its power to make you feel comfortable. From responsive customer service to transparency and insurance before delivering a gorgeous product, this brand proves that expensive items like diamonds do have a place in the virtual shopping world.

Lab-grown diamonds have a shorter supply chain which means you’ll save money. More importantly purchasing a lab-grown diamond means you’re buying with a clean conscience. It’s truly a win-win however you look at it, and this Clean Origin review would have to agree with the brand’s founder that buying lab-made diamonds is the way of the future.
