About Bio Bidet

Bio Bidet is an American brand of bidets that sells products online and in stores. They’re a trendsetter because bidets aren’t normalized in North America as they are in Asia and Europe.

The brand has been featured in CNN, Vice, The New York Times, Yahoo News, Buzzfeed, NBC News, and more reputable media outlets.

This Bio Bidet review will provide all the info you need before making a purchase: information about the brand, their bestsellers, overall pros and cons, shipping policies, where to buy, and other FAQs.

Overview of Bio Bidet

Bio Bidet was started in 2008 to bring the innovative smart ways of Eastern culture to the West via smart toilet bidets. With this in mind, Jason Han, president and CEO of the company, set out “to raise the standard of kitchen & bath technology.”

In a land that has contributed greatly to science and technology throughout the last few centuries, you have to admit it is kind of strange that bidets are not a ‘normal’ thing over here in North America.

Why wouldn’t we want better hygiene for our nether regions? Why is that the line we don’t cross for what not to make ‘smart’?

Han thought the same thing: pretty odd that people here don’t have bidets. So he decided to be the person to make that happen.

Bio Bidet was born, and their mission is as clear as the water that issues forth from their devices: “to revolutionize the bathroom experience while pushing forward with high quality products, exceptional customer service, and eco-friendly practices.”

Pretty cool stuff. We’re on board. Unfortunately, there isn’t much else we could find on the company and their origins. But we do know that Bio Bidet was recently bought by Bemis Manufacturing, a big name in the world of toilet-making.

Bio Bidet’s headquarters are located in Crystal Lake, Illinois in the good ol’ US of A.

Before we really tackle what the brand has to offer, this Bio Bidet review will highlight their pros and cons:

Okay, so the brand sells quite a number of butt-related products, so we’ll take a look at all the bestsellers to see what all the hype is about.

Bio Bidet USPA 6800u Review

The Bio Bidet USPA 6800U has all the classic features of a bidet seat: wireless remote control, warm air dryer, deodorizer, and a heated seat.

The cleaning features include pulsating, oscillating, massage cleaning, Intensive Impulse Pulsation (helpful for constipation), feminine wash, kid’s mode, auto wash, and a dual self-cleaning spray nozzle. The future is now.

This bidet has lots of options for a luxurious experience that is just right for you and everyone else in your household.

It allows you to make user presets, has a smart body sensor, a night light convenient for late-night use, automatic power save, and a tank reservoir good for conserving energy without compromising performance.

No cold water here, so it won’t be like standing in the shower awkwardly as you wait for the water to warm up.

The Bio Bidet USPA 6800 Luxury Bidet Set comes with a 3-year warranty and a price of $499. It always comes in a white color but you can choose between an elongated or round shape.

Bio Bidet Bliss BB-2000 Bidet Seat Review

The Bio Bidet BB-2000 Bliss Bidet Toilet Seat is more bougie than the model we just looked at. It has an even greater selection of cleaning modes and the 3-in-1 nozzle system allows for a choice between vortex water stream, posterior wash, or feminine wash.

The Hybrid Heating System creates continuous, limitless warmth so the water is consistently warm enough. You won’t need to mentally prepare your body for shockingly cold spraying.

Along with the standard options of cleaning modes like pulsating, oscillating, and massage cleaning, you also get a more advanced technological system

A touch screen panel, Hydro-Flush, a motorized nozzle clean, and easy one-touch nozzle replacement are all condensed in a luxuriously designed toilet seat that screams, “I paid a lot for my behind to be clean and I love it.”

The seat always comes in white, but you can opt for Black for your wireless remote if you so desire. Sizes are the standard elongated or round, and you’re assured a 3-year warranty. And right now, this bad boy is available for $699.

Bio Bidet BB-600 Ultimate Review

The Bio Bidet BB-600 Ultimate Bidet Smart Seat has everything you need for a solid bidet seat. With your attached side panel, you can control your temperature, heated seat, water pressure and positioning, warm air dry, and cleaning mode.

The motor-powered product is designed to run quietly. The BB-600 Ultimate is a more affordable option, but its technology is still as fancy as you’d expect from Bio Bidet, a brand that was built on the concept of making everyday things ‘smart.’

Your ultimate experience will come in an elongated or round size in white. This time, you only get a 2-year warranty, but perhaps that’s to be expected from a cheaper model: usually priced at $399, it’s on sale now for $325.

The UB 4800 Divine, also known as the Bio Bidet USPA 4800, is another economical yet luxurious model.

It will still sense your body and automatically power save with all its smartness. Call it divine intervention, if you will.

This model is only available in an elongated size and white. The UB-4800 Divine comes with a 2-year warranty for a price of $315 right now while it’s on sale, regular price $399.

Comparison: Bio Bidet vs. Clear Rear

If this Bio Bidet review is making you wonder, “What’s so different about this brand?” you’re not alone. Same. Same here. Let’s take a look at Bio Bidet and a similar option, Clear Rear. A quick, efficient side-by-side that gets straight to the point…

The main similarity between the two brands is that they both sell easy-to-attach bidets. That’s pretty much all you need to know.

Now here are 3 key differences:

  1. Clear Rear only sells attachments, not full bidet seats
  2. Clear Rear bidet attachments are more expensive
  3. Clear Rear’s other products include bathroom sprays and hand towels; Bio Bidet’s other products include kitchen faucets

Bio Bidet Reviews: What Do Customers Think?

No Bio Bidet review would be complete without taking a look at what customers had to say about the brand and their products.

We found testimonials from the brand site, Costco, Facebook, and Amazon, all discussing the highs and lows of the Bio Bidet experience.

Firstly, the brand site has overwhelmingly positive ratings. Here is how the products reviewed in this article stack up, stars-wise, from customers:

One 5-star Bio Bidet review for the BB-1000W Supreme model sums up the most common praises of the quality of the water stream and the tailored experience, and also includes one criticism:

I have a mild constipation issue and the enema function really does a good job to induce waste discharge. The only complaint is the remote buttons may not work on first contact, sometimes I need to press a few times in order to trigger the desired function.”

At Costco, customer reviews tell a similar story. The products still have high ratings, like for example the 4.5/5 star-rated USPA 6800. Customers positively rave about it.

They love the variety of cleaning modes, the “high-end” performance without the crazily high-end price, and feel “spoiled” by the pampering it provides.

On Amazon, we’re back to mostly positive testimonials. The BB-1000 Supreme has an overall 4.5/5 stars from 3,325 ratings.

Customers describe the experience as “pure luxury” and gush about the high-tech features giving them a more eco-friendly way to ‘go’ and good-quality materials that make you feel like royalty:

I love the heating function, and love that I will use far less toilet paper. The warm seat will be very nice when the cold midwestern winter hits…. Definitely recommend this to anyone who is considering either a heated seat or a bidet.”

To sum up, the best points include luxurious design, affordable, eco-conscious, variety of cleaning modes and features, and impressive innovative technology.

Is Bio Bidet Worth It?

Yes, Bio Bidet is worth it. From all our research, the overwhelmingly positive reviews, and the sweet prices (with sales on now), Bio Bidet looks like a fantastic option for a brand to choose if you’re looking into some bidet business for your behind.

Check over everything, make sure you have all the necessary parts, follow installation instructions carefully, and reach out to customer service ASAP should you have any issues.
